Special Occasion Cruises

Reunions, Anniversaries, Birthdays

My family loves to cruise together.  We don’t all live near one another and we don’t see one another near enough, so we have started cruising together.  Our first reunion cruise was wonderful.  Some of us did shore excursions together, some of us did our own thing, but we all ate dinner together, sat by the pool together, went to the shows together.  We spent time getting to know our in-laws, nieces and nephews.  Before the cruise was over we were already planning our next family reunion cruise.  Multi-generations have a wonderful time together.  My most memorable group that I met on a ship once included a gentle, soft spoken woman – age 102 and a beautiful, no so soft spoken little girl – age 2.  They were having their picture taken together on a set of marble stairs.  What a memory that photo will make.  This particular group had over 100 relatives traveling together.  From all over the world.  They were having the time of their lives.  Evidently they cruise together every other year.

Family Reunions are not the only reunions that sail.  Class reunions are very popular – 10 year, 20 year, 30 year, even 50 years.

Cruising is very romantic and my husband and love to cruise on our anniversary.  It is wonderful to enjoy an evening that includes a romantic dinner for two on our balcony or at a specialty restaurant, dancing together to some of the best musicians, enjoying a night cap while sitting in a hot tub under the stars.

Celebrating a birthday while on a cruise can be a blast too.  Our foster daughter turned 18 on one of our cruises and even our wait staff made her feel special.  It is something she will always remember.

Please let me know, at the time of booking, if you are celebrating a special occasion.
